Frequently Asked Questions

What made you start writing about the supernatural?

I always found the supernatural realm fascinating; however, I found that most of it could not be explained by the normal means of science, thus the Radaemos Series was born!

I also believe that some of my subconscious tramua/desires entered into my stories.

Did you draw most of your inspiration from the Bible?

I wrote the Radaemos Series with the notion of moving away from the Biblical texts. The majority of my work draws inspiration from history, science, and my own personal experiences in life. I have read some Biblical passages, however, it was to make sure that the depiction of certain events was somewhat accurate.

However, I do personally respect the literary work, although I don't fully take it to heart.

How long did it take you to write your novels?

Rough Drafts:

"Red Dirt and Blue Skies"- Roughly 40 Days.

"The Time It Took"- Roughly 23 Days.

I had a lot of free time during the fall of 2017.

"When Darkness Reigns"-15 Days. I had to take a short break when my grandfather passed away.

Do you have a favorite character or book from your works?

I especially enjoy "The Time It Took" and have grown fond of writing Anna and Seth's relationship.

My wife loves "The Weight of Death".

What are some things that you've learned from your writings?

I have learned not to write underwater scenes and that I now have a fear of bow rakes.

I also have tried to show that redemption is possible with great effort, and can be achieved by good deeds, like what Seth did throughout "The Time It Took".
